Java Offshore has been awarded a contract by TOTAL E&P Myanmar to perform geophysical site investigation for the drilling exploration wells in Myanmar.
Our dedicated multi-purpose survey vessel Java Imperia will be utilised for this project and will carry through with a base case scenario included in two main areas.
For area 1, the geophysical dual-pass site investigation will be performed over an area of 5km x 5km with two characteristics applied; Standard geophysical acquisition and 2DHR seismic site investigation.
For area 2, the geophysical site investigation will be performed over an area of 4km x 0.3km in front of the rig face of the platforms with single pass geophysical analogue survey acquisition.
Operations are expected to commence in June 2019.
With these contracts Java Offshore continues to strengthen its entry into the growing Myanmar market.
