Java Offshore Successfully Completes Soil Survey, Paving the Way for Batam-Bintan Bridge Construction.

Earlier this week, report on Soil Investigation Survey for Batam-Bintan Bridge Project was submitted to Governor’s Office, Dompak, Tanjungpinang.

Our Java Offshore President, @RizalShah, along with Vice President @DennyTami and Project Manager @Erich, attended the closing ceremony where BPJN Kepri Head, Soendiarto, handed over the report to Governor Ansar, who was accompanied by the Acting Head of the Kepri Public Works and Spatial Planning Department (PUPP), Rodi Yantari.

The work commenced on May 2024, and was completed on December 2024. The survey covered 19 borehole points, with 17 points on Bridge 1 (Batam-Tanjung Sauh) and 2 points on Bridge 2 (Tanjung Sauh-Bintan).

“The survey results conclude that the waters of Tanjung Uban and Batam are suitable for bridge construction. Although some challenges were encountered during the process, the survey was overall successful and completed on time,” said Soendiarto.
Governor Ansar expressed his optimism that the central government will support the realization of the Riau Islands community’s dream of having a bridge connecting Batam and Bintan.

“I am very confident that the Batam-Bintan Bridge will be a game-changer in the transformation of Kepri’s blue economy, as envisioned by the central government,” he stated enthusiastically.

Report on Soil Investigation Survey for Batam-Bintan Bridge Project Submitted to Governor’s Office, Dompak, Tanjungpinang.

DISKOMINFO KEPRI – The Governor of the Riau Islands, H. Ansar Ahmad, has received the report on the soil investigation survey for the Batam-Bintan Bridge project from the Riau Islands National Road Implementation Center (BPJN) at the Governor’s Office in Dompak, Tanjungpinang, on Tuesday (11/2). The report was handed over by BPJN Kepri Head, Soendiarto, to Governor Ansar, who was accompanied by the Acting Head of the Kepri Public Works and Spatial Planning Department (PUPP), Rodi Yantari.

The soil investigation survey, conducted by PT Java Offshore, was funded by the state budget (APBN) with an allocation of IDR 68 billion. The work commenced on May 27, 2024, and was completed on December 11, 2024. The survey covered 19 borehole points, with 17 points on Bridge 1 (Batam-Tanjung Sauh) and 2 points on Bridge 2 (Tanjung Sauh-Bintan).

Governor Ansar Ahmad expressed his gratitude for the completion of this soil investigation survey. “The survey results are crucial for the review design of the Batam-Bintan Bridge. We will promptly report the findings to the central government,” he stated.

To follow up on the survey results, the Kepri Provincial Government has allocated IDR 500 million to continue the design process for the Batam-Bintan Bridge, incorporating the survey findings.

The scope of the completed survey includes:

  • Coastal topographic survey
  • Bathymetry, tidal, current, and wave survey
  • Sub-bottom profiling survey
  • Offshore geotechnical survey

This survey is a crucial step in preparing the readiness criteria before the construction of the Batam-Bintan Bridge begins.

Based on technical data, Bridge 1 (Batam-Tanjung Sauh) will span 2.2 km, while Bridge 2 (Tanjung Sauh-Bintan) will stretch 5.3 km.

Mimpi Jembatan Batam-Bintan Semakin Dekat, Hasil Survei Tunjukkan Kelayakan Proyek

Penyerahan laporan hasil survei penyelidikan tanah rencana pembangunan Jembatan Batam-Bintan dari Balai Pelaksanaan Jalan Nasional (BPJN) Kepri di Ruang Kerja Gubernur, Dompak, Tanjungpinang.

DISKOMINFO KEPRI – Gubernur Kepulauan Riau, H. Ansar Ahmad, menerima laporan hasil survei penyelidikan tanah rencana pembangunan Jembatan Batam-Bintan dari Balai Pelaksanaan Jalan Nasional (BPJN) Kepri di Ruang Kerja Gubernur, Dompak, Tanjungpinang, Selasa (11/2). Penyerahan laporan dilakukan Kepala BPJN Kepri, Soendiarto, ke Gubernur Ansar yang didampingi Plt. Kepala Dinas PUPP Kepri, Rodi Yantari.

Survei penyelidikan tanah yang dikerjakan PT Java Offshore ini menghabiskan dana APBN sebesar Rp68 miliar. Pengerjaan dimulai pada 27 Mei 2024 dan rampung pada 11 Desember 2024. Survei dilakukan di 19 titik borehole, dengan rincian 17 titik di sisi jembatan 1 (Batam-Tanjung Sauh) dan 2 titik di sisi jembatan 2 (Tanjung Sauh-Bintan).

“Hasil survei menyimpulkan perairan Tanjung Uban dan Batam layak untuk dibangun jembatan. Meski dalam proses pengerjaan menghadapi beberapa kendala, secara keseluruhan survey berjalan lancar dan selesai tepat waktu,” ujar Soendiarto.

Gubernur Ansar Ahmad menyampaikan rasa syukur atas selesainya survei penyelidikan tanah ini. “Hasil survei ini sangat penting sebagai review design jembatan Batam-Bintan. Kami akan segera melaporkan hasilnya ke pemerintah pusat,” ujarnya.

Untuk menindaklanjuti hasil survei, Pemerintah Provinsi Kepri telah menganggarkan dana sebesar Rp500 juta yang akan digunakan untuk melanjutkan desain Jembatan Batam-Bintan dengan mengadopsi hasil survei penyelidikan tanah.

Lingkup survei yang telah dilakukan meliputi survey topografi pesisir, survey bathymetry, pasang surut, arus dan gelombang, survey sub bottom profiling, serta survey geoteknik offshore. Survei ini menjadi tahapan penting dalam menyiapkan readiness criteria sebelum dimulainya pembangunan Jembatan Batam-Bintan.

Berdasarkan data teknis, jembatan 1 yang menghubungkan Batam-Tanjung Sauh memiliki panjang 2,2 Km, sementara jembatan 2 yang menghubungkan Tanjung Sauh-Bintan sepanjang 5,3 Km.

Gubernur Ansar mengungkapkan optimismenya bahwa pemerintah pusat akan bersedia mewujudkan mimpi masyarakat Kepri untuk memiliki jembatan penghubung Batam dan Bintan.
“Saya sangat yakin Jembatan Batam-Bintan ini akan menjadi game changer dalam transformasi ekonomi biru Kepri yang digagas pemerintah pusat,” tegasnya penuh semangat. (Jlu)
