Asian Geos was awarded a contract by PETRONAS Carigali for the Provision of Soil Investigation Services for Limbayong Deepwater Development.<\/p>\n<p>Benthic\u2019s Portable Remotely Operated Drill (PROD)2 executed the geotechnical work scope from the MMA Valour in Q4 2018. Benthic\u2019s PROD collected geotechnical borehole samples and Cone Penetration Test (CPT) to 100m penetrations, seismic probes to 40m and a range of 40m of CPTs in water depths ranging from 700m to 1040m. Benthic and Asian Geos successfully completed the programme without incident or delay on December 14, 2018. Laboratory testing, reporting and interpretation are taking place in Perth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very pleased with the success of this campaign, as this was Benthic\u2019s first Malaysian project conducted in co-operation with Asian Geos,\u201d stated Steve Pywell, CEO of Benthic. \u201cOur teams worked collaboratively to execute the project safely and on schedule to meet the client\u2019s project goals.
