In light of the hardship faced by everyone especially healthcare frontliners due to the Covid-19 outbreak in Indonesia, companies all over have come forward to help ease their burden. In the spirit of giving back, Java Offshore has channeled more than Rp 30mil in buying personal protective equipment (PPE) for the two main hospitals handling Covid-19 cases in Jakarta, RSAL MINTOHARJO (Navy Hospital Type B) and RS. Kartika Pulomas. Receiving these is Bapak Fachri F. in Pharmacy department and Dr. Sadewa Yudha, a Hospital Manager.

Special acknowledgement goes to our Java Offshore staff in Jakarta, Yuni and Amir for helping out with the logistics at the office and also Risa, Munawar and Zalfi for volunteering in sending the equipment supplies safely to the two hospitals. There were many other Java Offshore staff to name a few and we are truly grateful for everyone’s kind support.

Java Offshore President, Rizal Shah said the increase in the number of infections nationwide has led to a shortage of protective equipment supplies. This situation has forced medical personnel to resort to using improvised equipment. A small gesture goes a long way, especially when that small gesture can bring a relieving smile during these tough times. We want to ensure the medical frontliners are well protected during the Covid-19 outbreak, he added.

Success in overcoming the pandemic requires all, including those not on the front line battling the disease, to show courage, compassion and generosity to others. Java Offshore hope that everyone can rally together and join forces to keep the disease at bay. We also hope that through this gesture will provide our front-liners with support in fighting Covid-19 in Indonesia.
