Java Offshore has been awarded a Geophysical and Geotechnical site investigation in West Natuna, Indonesia.
The work scope includes Seabed Clearance Survey, Sampling, Piezocone Penetration Test (CPTU), Soil Testing, and Leg Penetration Analyses (LPA). The goal is to deliver bathymetry and geophysical data around spudcan positions, obtain soil properties and to evaluate the leg penetration analysis for Jack up rig entry at proposed drilling well location. Our dedicated geotechnical vessel is currently being mobilized in Batam, Indonesia. The Pre Mob meeting was conducted on May 10th, led by Mr. Tjhin Se Siang, our lead Project Manager for this campaign. The vessel is expected to sail out within the next few days to complete a 2 week campaign at site.
