Java Offshore has succeeded in winning the tender for soil depth investigation for the Batam-Bintan Bridge construction project in Batam, Indonesia.
On 27th May 2024, the inauguration ceremony and commencement of the soil investigation survey for the Batam-Bintan Bridge were held in Batam city center and onboard Java Offshore’s dedicated geotechnical vessel, MV Trinity Surveyor.
Governor of Riau Islands H. Ansar Ahmad, along with the Head of the Kepri Road Implementation Center, Stanley Citoro Haggard Tuapattinaja, the President of Java Offshore, Rizal Shah, and Java Offshore’s Vice President Dr. Denny Tami, pressed the siren button on the MV Trinity Surveyor vessel to mark the start of the soil depth investigation survey for the Batam-Bintan Bridge in the waters of Tanjung Sauh, Batam, Indonesia.
This soil depth investigation survey is a crucial step in preparing the readiness criteria before the construction of the Batam-Bintan Bridge. All landing points of the Batam-Bintan Bridge are certified, and we have submitted the administration to the Ministry of Public Works and Housing,” said Governor Ansar.
Governor Ansar believes that the Batam-Bintan Bridge will be an economic driver for the Riau Islands Province, as it will connect two major islands that have significant economic and investment hubs in the region. On behalf of everyone at Java Offshore, we wish everyone involved in the campaign the best of luck!
