Java Offshore closes the year with a BANG after being awarded the Pertamina Hulu Energy Nunukan Company (PHENC)survey contract on 1 December 2015.
The service contract scope of work consists of offshore, nearshore and onshore geophysical and geotechnical surveys. Besides land topography works around landing points and existing infrastructures is also included in the campaign.
This contract is part of the PHENC 2016 Badik development program that would increase production capacity of PHENC. The hydrocarbons will be produced from three different platforms and will be channelled to onshore processing facilities in Benyu Island.
Java Offshore will mobilise its assets to perform the seismic and geotechnical surveys between December 2015 and March 2016. Java Insignia, Java Ilena and Trinity explorer are ready to sail to location to acquire data using permanently fitted digital and analogue equipment and a drilling rig, respectively.
Java Offshore will once again prove its capabilities to handle a multi-disciplinary project and deliver as expected or even more.
